Abstract
The performance prediction based on historical learning is an important process in aid of effective monitoring of learning. In order to promote a better understanding of the topic to be addressed, this article presents the results of a systematic review of studies on forecasting performance. This review included the analysis of articles published in national and international journals in order to investigate the feasibility of the information collected in the process of predicting performance of students based on their historical learning as a way to support the making proactive decisions.
