Abstract
This article summarizes a study whose purpose was to determine the influence of simulation software use in teaching computer networks concepts and fundamentals, for a specific context. The quantitative study was an experimental design with control group. Parametric tests led to the conclusion that there is statistically significant diference in favor of students who used a strategy based on simulation.
