Abstract

In ubiquitous environments, intelligent objects are interconnected and being part of our everyday life. The smart objects tend to increase with the Internet of Things. However, the adaptation of the environment to the user profile and its characteristics has, in turn, the need to determine its positioning accuracy. This work proposes the local verification and user confirmation in the environ- ment. Introducing also, a control model and management sending notifications and alerts. A control and management model was presented to send notificati- ons and alerts. The model uses the environment, user profile, and criteria for location verification in ubiquitous environments. Finally, experiments and re- sults showed an increase in the use of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology and the use of this technology for notifications.
