Abstract

Cost management and best practice IT governance are tools that can be used by companies as a differential to achieve more effective management and greater transparency, increasing their results and ensuring the soundness of the business. This article aims to analyze the organizational context of an enterprise of metal-mechanical sector, seeking governance solutions for cost reduction and restructuring of the area of communication and IT services. It is concluded that the study is relevant because it was possible to suggest improvements in the structure of communication services through IT governance practices, reducing costs, providing greater efficiency and economic return to the company.
