Utilização da biblioteca recommenderlab do Software R para análise comparativa de algoritmos de recomendação

Abstract

Researches on Recommender Systems (RS) are often carried out due to the increasing amount of data that users encounter when accessing the Internet. The R software facilitates the generation of recommendations with the recommenderlab library. In the RS field, it is important to find effective and fast algorithms in various contexts. Therefore, this paper aims to disseminate the use of this library as a means to execute and compare some recommendation algorithms in two different contexts. The recommenderlab library proved to be a facilitator for this comparative analysis, thus it is interesting disclose their use, and the method used in this research, as learning support in the RS field.
