Cobertura de redes 4G no Rio de la Plata:Testes realizados na travessia Argentina - Uruguai

Resumen

This paper describes a theoretical framework and the use of 4G mobile networks in Río de la Plata, particularly, in the crossing between the cities of Buenos Aires (Argentina) and Colonia del Sacramento (Uruguay). This research still in development and intends to perform a map of 4G mobile networks coverage, in the 45 km crossing, in order to provide a report on the current situation of these networks, it will be used the application OpenSignal, and therefore to determine the sites that have problems during this River route, which is considered one of the busiest routes between the two countries. Finally, a future work proposal will be presented to improve the signals and services detected in this region.
