Abstract

Training professionals in the area of firearm safety has high costs and low scalability, meaning there is a need to look for new ways to carry out this training, including an automated evaluation system. One proposal is the use of simulation based on Virtual Reality associated with a computational module that can evaluate qualitative parameters, identifying different behaviors during simulated training. This article presents a proposal for modeling a sensor system for simulated training based on six postures, six procedures and five parameters for carrying out automatic evaluation. The main contribution of the proposal is to promote the creation of a technology that allows security agents to be automatically evaluated in both a quantitative and qualitative way.
