Abstract
This paper aims to do a revision of literature, analyzing the relevance of Neuroscience for the contribution of Mathematics Teaching. For this, the research presents an investigation of what has been addressed to effect the contribution of such science, linked to the improvement of arithmetic knowledge. Therefore, the theme explored here will support the continuity of a study proposal of an innovative nature to assist students in Teaching for Youth and Adults (EJA) regarding the learning of mathematical content in the final years of elementary school.
